your calculator has an issue, it does not compound/use the profit for the next trades, instead if you put $1000 starting balance it uses $1000 for each trade
Great video and the calculator is one of the best items I have come across on my learning journey. So one important factor that is not mentioned in this video is that your average position size needs to be adjusted in the advanced settings. It’s defaulted at 100,000 and that’s not realistic as position size is dependant on the price of the token you are trading. Lower price = higher position size and vice versa. Otherwise you find out pretty quickly that the results of the strategy calculator are far too optimistic
I made 7500 in 8 days. But got greedy and lost 1500 in one stupid trade! Still insane but luck is huge with 10-20x leverage
if u set the max position size to for example 1000000, the same strategy would result in +1823745 dollar gain instead of 267k
Losing 3 trades in a row will eventually clean your account and that's all.
Here are the 10 golden rules for leverage trading – all of them are equally important:
1. trade only with money you can afford to lose
2. pick a reliable and trusted exchange
3. don't trade out of needing the money
4. never force trades meaning – you are trading to reach a certain daily goal (remember you cannot force the profits)
5. always follow the rules especially when the trade is going against you
6. don't chase the moonshots (this is not playing the lottery but long-term game)
7. keep a diary of your trades and learn from your mistakes
8. start small until you learn the ropes
9. compound your wallet (profits)
10. cash out the profits regularly
